News Reports over the last few days have been publishing a rumour that Marvel Studios have acquired the film distribution rights for the Incredible Hulk movies.
Universal has owned the rights to distribute any Hulk movies before Disney even purchased Marvel Studios
According to the Website, MCU Cosmic, the film rights to The Incredible Hulk and Namor have both been reverted back to Marvel Studios from Universal Pictures who originally owned distribution rights to the characters, with Marvel previously only being allowed to use these characters in team-up films such as Hulks appearance in Thor: Ragnarok and all the Avengers films.
However, The Walt Disney Company’s annual financial report confirms at the moment that this is not the case, as one line reads: ” The Company distributes all Marvel-produced films with the exception of The Incredible Hulk, which is distributed by Universal Pictures.”
One thing to Report is that the Team from MCU Cosmic have stated that this is only a rumour with the Statement made by the website.
“I’m only putting this out there as a rumour, not as fact, but I’ve heard from someone very reliable that Marvel has gained full control of Hulk” – MCU Cosmic
This rumour sounds like any MCU Fans Dream comes true but we may have to wait as only time will tell if it’s true.
