Every now and then you can find yourself on the internet when it suggests something to you that can leave you thinking is this really a thing.
That moment happened to me when I got an email from Pinterest recommending Monopoly Parties to me.
Now for subscribers to this site will know that I am not the biggest fan of this game and it’s the latest string of terrible attempts to re-release versions of the game to stay relevant from Monopoly for Millennials to the terrible Ms Monopoly the game just feels like it is only getting worse.
So On investigating this strangely themed party craze further, I found an entire board full of recommendations for everything from costumes to party favours.

Forget pin the tail on the donkey why not attach a moustache to a symbol of capitalism???
Dress up as a location?
Why not dress up as a train station or tax? Um forget realism or logic in a monopoly party you can do what you want.
Put your guests in Jail
Nothing says party like locking your guests in a cage…wait no that can’t be right
Send your guests home with bags of cash
Now, this is something I can get behind do you Party right and send your guests home with giant money bags!
