CrowD Games to Release Ganesha Board Game
An Announcement from Board Game Publisher CrowD Games has dropped news of the release of a new game based on the Indian God Ganesha.
Ganesha, by Maxim Istomin, will have players each round Either place cubes on the mandala to score points or to save them in order to score even more points in the future.
The theme of the game has been described by the publisher as
Ganesha is an Indian god of wisdom and prosperity. He has a kind and noble heart and large ears so that he can hear all pleas addressed to him. His patronage can remove obstacles from your path and bring you good luck.
Once upon a time, you were travelling in India and decided to visit the temple of Ganesha. In the middle of the hall decorated with flowers stood an altar with different precious gems: rubies, emeralds, diamonds and many others. What was this altar for? An acolyte of Ganesha, dressed in bright clothes approached you and told that this was an ancient game.
If you would like to participate, you and other contestants would have to decorate a magical mandala with precious stones. Whoever did the best job would attain a special favour from Ganesha himself — but the monk warned that you would have to follow certain rules. What were they? He began his tale.
The components of the game also look great with it featuring tiny gem-like components and elephant meeples.
We will have to wait to find out more details but hopefully, this game will be available soon for us to play.
