We have learnt In the latest Nintendo Direct earlier this week that trainer customization and food will be playing an even bigger role in the newest entry in the Pokémon video game franchise Pokemon Sword & Shield.
A wide variety of outfits, hairstyles, and even makeup will make you feel like you’re in the story more than ever leading the game to a whole new audience of players while making it a more immersive experience.
In addition to the new custom appearances, the game will also feature a Pokémon Camp where you can cook all different kinds of curry rice and hopefully make some other dishes.
There were also new Pokémon from the Galar region that were announced and one in particular immediately made a interesting impact on us.
The latest Pokémon’s name is Polteageist, a Ghost-type, hides insides dishes nestled inside the cabinets at hotels and restaurants. “[Its] body is made of tea,” says Nintendo. “You may even be able to have a taste.”
This concept of having a taste feels sort of creepy to us with this new Pokémon eating concept making us wonder if Milktank burgers or Tauros steaks might be on the menu next.
