What is Wingspan
Wingspan is a board game that has become even more popular over the last few months since winning the 2019 Kennerspiel des Jahres award.
Wingspan for those that are yet to play it. is a competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game from publisher Stonemaier Games and designer Elizabeth Hardgrave.
In Wingspan, players take the role of bird enthusiasts, researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors that are seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves.
Players win the game by collecting the most victory points at the end of the game by collecting eggs, playing bird cards and completing bird card actions.
This is a fantastic board game that I really love and would highly recommend it’s just a really fun. However the games components have the same challenges that most games face in an effort to keep the game at a reasonable cost a lot of the components that could be plastic are cardboard.
